# How to flag a post

If you feel a post doesn’t fit into the community, flag it to bring it to the moderator’s attention.

**When to flag a post?**

Flag a post if you find:

1. It’s off-topic and derails the conversation
2. It violates the community guidelines
3. It’s spammy or excessively promotional
4. It’s inappropriate or offensive

**How to flag a post?**

1️⃣ Identify the post you want to flag.

2️⃣ Choose the flag icon 🚩at the bottom of the post.

3️⃣ Choose your reason for flagging the post.

4️⃣ Relax and wait for the moderators to take necessary action.
